Formed in 1893, The West Kilbride Golf Club is a traditional member’s golf club with over 1000 members across various categories. We are fortunate to boast incredible coastal views which attracts visiting golfers from all over the world who wish to sample a true Scottish links golf course. We have invested heavily in our Club’s facilities both on and off the golf course in recent years. In 2023, we undertook a very successful re-development of our existing 220-yard practice area. Our practice facilities now include an indoor teaching studio, covered practice bays, a chipping green, a wedge area as well as a large putting green. The membership of the Club continues to support investment in the Club’s future having approved the installation of a new state-of-the-art rainbird irrigation system in 2026.
Additionally, the Club regularly hosts major championship events. In 2023, we hosted our first R&A Championship in the Senior Home Internationals, and we are looking forward to once again hosting the Scottish Boys Open Championship in April 2025 as well as the Scottish PGA Championship in 2026.
