Junior Safeguarding

The West Kilbride Golf Club is fully committed to safeguarding the welfare of all children in its care. It recognises the responsibility to promote safe practice and to protect children from harm, abuse and exploitation. Staff and volunteers will work together to embrace difference and diversity and respect the rights of children and young people.

The West Kilbride Golf Club affiliates to Scottish Golf and the club recognises the policies of the governing body as set out in the Guidelines for Child Protection for Golf Clubs and Facilities. In November 2024 the Club attained Scottish Golf SafeGolf Accreditation demonstrating that the Club meets the standards set by Scottish Golf to safeguard children and young people in our sport.
